I think every knitter knows the feeling of being in a part of your project where you really need to focus. You're counting your stitches, reading a section of a pattern for the tenth time or trying to figure out whether you made the increases on the last row or not, when your partner or kid or just a random stranger comes up to you, making a comment about the weather or asking what's for dinner. Oh crab! Everything you've just been focusing on, gone. Start counting that 380-stitch row all over again.
